The Basic Instructor Course (BIC) is designed to train you to become a competent and professional self-defence instructor. You will learn techniques from Krav Maga (KM) and other systems that compliment the KM techniques, for self-defence during the basic course. You will also learn how to teach the techniques safely and effectively to others. Unlike some courses which claim to give you the skills to be an instructor in a matter of days, we will monitor you over 2x one week courses, with a gap in-between to consolidate and practice what you've learned. We have a reputation for high standards and you must meet these standards by attending all of the days and showing competence in the learning/teaching material to pass the course and be certified. This is not an attendance course. You will need to be focused and capable of absorbing a lot of information, whilst also doing a lot of physical training each day. You must be fit and capable of leading from the front.

Your journey doesn't end after the BIC... KRAVNET is keen to see our BIC graduate instructors return for regular monthly refresher/progression training days, whilst striving to advance to our Advanced Insructor Course (AIC). We understand it takes reliable guidance, time and experience to become a credible and respected instructor in an industry that has many critics and 'keyboard/armchair experts'. Social media and AI have made it possible for almost anyone to make claims about their knowledge and market themselves as experts in many forms of self defence, fitness, etc. Good marketing skills can help imposters survive for a short time but sooner or later experience, knowledge and good skills will expose them. We teach self-defence for real world 'physical' situations, not for online courses or virtual situations.

Participants of the KRAVNET BIC will have a good foundation and resources to assist with setting up a respected club, classes or events. We're always available to give advice and assistance to continue your professional development as a professional instructor. We actively avoid bad teaching practices, we discourage inflated claims and social media posts and aim to promote a humble, yet capable and professional presence amongst your peers and local business competition.

We are there each step of your journey to ensure you become a genuine, credible and enthusiastic instructor, who will survive and prosper because of your good reputation and skills.
