Women's Self-Defence Course | FEARLESS Beginners
Women's Self-Defence Course | Total Krav Maga A women-only self-defence intensive. 4 hours. Twice a year. No experience needed. You don't need to be fit. You don't need experience. You just need to show up. The biggest barrier to learning self-defence isn't ability. It's the thought: "This probably isn't for someone like me." It is. Fearless exists for women who've never thrown a punch in their life. Women who feel nervous in public and don't quite know why. Women who want to feel less helpless - without having to walk into a room full of strangers throwing each other around. It's four hours. In a room full of women. With instructors who will meet you exactly where you are. You don't need to bring anything special. Just arrive in comfortable training clothes - leggings, a sports top - and we'll take care of the rest. Why women-only? Because getting through the door is the hard part. We know from experience - and from the women who've come before you - that a women-only space makes a real difference. Not because the training is softer, but because you can focus entirely on learning rather than wondering what anyone else thinks of you. As one woman put it: "I can say that I find the idea of such a class less intimidating if it's all women vs coed, just on a psychological level. So just from a 'getting people to sign up' perspective, there may be value in having a women-only class." That's exactly why we run Fearless. (Our regular weekly classes are mixed - and the women who train with us week in, week out love them. But we understand that mixed can feel like a bigger first step. Fearless is designed to meet you where you are.) What you'll learn We'll cover the self-defence skills, situational awareness, and mindset tools that matter most for women's safety in real life: How to read a situation early - spotting warning signs before something escalates De-escalation - what to say and do before things turn physical Striking techniques - punches, kicks and pad work Releases from grabs, chokes and holds - practical responses to the most common attacks on women Ground escapes - what to do if you end up on the floor Staying calm under pressure - how to keep thinking clearly when adrenaline kicks in The session ends with a stress summary drill : each participant goes one-on-one with one of our instructors in a full protective suit. You'll apply everything you've learned in a controlled, supervised simulation. It sounds daunting. By the time you get there, you'll be ready. What to expect on the day What to wear: Comfortable training clothes - leggings and a long-sleeved top or sports top. That's it. No special kit or equipment required. Footwear: Clean indoor What to bring: A water bottle and a small towel. Nothing else. Leave at home: Watches, rings, chains and piercings will need to come off for training. Health form: You'll complete a short health form before the session. Please note: this is a physically active, practical course - you will be striking pads, moving on the floor, and taking part in at least one fighting simulation with an instructor. Who it's for Fearless is open to women aged 16 and over . No self-defence experience needed Under-18s are welcome with written parental consent and must be accompanied by an adult. Whether you've never trained before, you've been through something that knocked your confidence, or you simply want to feel more prepared - Fearless is the right place to start.
