Total Krav Maga Membership - Terms & Conditions

Adult Membership

To be eligible for our Total Krav Maga ‘adult’ membership you must currently be over 18 years of age. Young adults aged between 17 and 18 may join with written parental consent. Applications will be considered on an individual basis. Parents must attend the first class to meet the instructor and complete any contracts & payments.

All monthly membership payments are by secure, automated recurring card payment only. We do not offer a ‘pay as you go' or cash payment scheme. Payments cover approx 48 week of the year, so will continue during the holiday periods.

Short term visitors to the club, can purchase credits via a private link we will send to you. Please contact in advance to arrange this. Credits have an expiry of 3 months from the date of issue.  Any joining fees must be paid in full and in advance, of your first training session with us, unless you are already a member of an official Krav Maga Global (KMG) club.  

All KMG students are required to have a valid KMG licence to participate in any classes or events.

Junior Membership

Total Krav Maga Junior membership must be aged between 5 and 17 years old.

There are two separate groups. 5-10 years  and 11-17 years old. Not all classes are available at all locations. Please check our website location page first.

We do allow 16-year olds to train at our Eton/Windsor location listed as 'Adults & Teens' or specific events under certain circumstances at the discretion of their instructor, providing their parent or an adult family member is present at all times and is their training partner.

17 years old may join our adult classes with written parental consent. Parents must attend the first session to set up any payments and meet the instructor(s)

Family Membership

To be eligible for our Total KM 'Family Membership' you must be a direct 'family' relation with the other member you are joining with (husband & wife, Son & daughter, Brother & Sister etc). Couples in a long-term relationship may also be eligible for a family membership, providing they live at the same address

Family membership payments must come from a single bank account.    

Suspending or Pausing your membership

If you need to take a break for any reason, such as injury or extended travel, you have the option to pause your membership. This means you'll maintain your club membership status without attending classes during your break. You must contact us at least 48 hours in advance. We will NOT back date pause requests.

Members can pause their membership at any time, with the condition that the pause is for a minimum duration of one month. There is no charge for placing your membership on pause. After your joining fee has been paid, you're entitled to this flexible option, allowing you to manage your training schedule conveniently.

Cancelling your Membership

Total Krav Maga’s minimum membership contract term for adults is 3-months and 1 month for junior members.

Should you wish to cancel your membership within the first 14 days of your contract being signed, please do so in writing by email to bookings@totalkravmaga.com

The cancellation during this period will fall under the 'cooling off' period. Please be aware that should you order equipment / clothing and/or the KMG licence, as part of the joining fee, during the 14-day cooling off period, you will not be refunded for these items. Should you attend any classes during the cooling off period, class fees (charged at trial class prices) will be deducted from your membership fee.

After the cooling off period of 14-days, you will not be permitted to cancel or change your membership during the initial 3-month minimum contract period. Should you wish to cancel at the end of this period, you may give written notice by email to bookings@totalkravmaga.com.

After the 3-month minimum contract period has passed, you will enter a monthly rolling membership. Should you wish to cancel your membership with Total Krav Maga, you may request to terminate your membership in writing by email to bookings@totalkravmaga.com at any time providing us 30 days notice. Your membership will then expire at the end of the 'current' month and no further payments will be taken.

Trial Class Bookings

Once booked, we will not refund you in the event that you cannot attend your trial class. If you are unable to make the initial class you have booked, please contact us and we will offer you a credit to use within 30 days of your booking. You can then register for another date to suit you. After 30 days the credit will expire and you will need to book in full again if you wish to attend a trial class.

Class Cancellations and Holidays  

As Total Krav Maga operates an open membership policy where you can train at any of our locations, we will not refund part membership payments for classes not attended, occasional class cancellations due to bad weather, instructor illness or when the locations we hire, have to temporarily close for maintenance/events or similar activities, nor when we have informed members of a cancellation in advance, or for classes which are suspended during the holiday periods.

We do not run classes on Public/Bank Holidays. We take our annual leave for 2 weeks over the Christmas/ New Year period and 2 weeks during the Summer Holiday period. Exact dates may vary each year and will be posted on the NEWS page of our website, on our Facebook page and via email in our club newsletter. The monthly fees have been set to cover training for approx 48 weeks of the year, allowing for two weeks on each of the main holiday periods (Summer/ Christmas & New Year). We may run more (or less) classes on a temporary schedule during these periods, depending on how the days of the year fall and instructor availability.

We do not run our junior classes during the school half-terms or public/national holidays. We also take breaks from the junior classes during the major school holidays, such as Easter, Summer & Christmas holiday periods. For the Summer and Christmas holidays, junior member's payments are suspended for the entire month of August and December. Account holders of junior members will be informed about this via our club newsletter, in advance.

Re-joining after a cancellation

If you were previously a member of Total Krav Maga who gave 30 days’ notice of cancellation and are now planning on re-joining, a reduced administration fee of £20.00 will be charged on your first NEW  membership as a card payment.

If you cancelled your previous membership directly at your bank without contacting us, a re-joining fee of £35.00 will be applied to your first NEW monthly direct debit or you can pay by card/cash.

You will be required to renew your annual KMG licence & insurance and register the licence number with us before participating in any classes.
